From snow falling on Main Street, U.S.A. to festive street parties in Hollywood Studios and delicious holiday bites at EPCOT, there’s a celebration for everyone. So let’s break it down: What’s the difference between Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Jollywood Nights, and Festival of the Holidays—and how can you save big when booking?

It is our family’s favorite time to visit Disney is hands-down the holiday season. There’s something about twinkling lights, festive music, and sipping cocoa and nibbling Christmas cookies while watching fireworks that makes it extra magical. If you're looking for memory-making moments, this is it!

🎟️ A Quick Note on Tickets & Timing

All of Disney’s holiday parties—Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Disney Jollywood Nights—are separately ticketed events. That means even if you have a regular park ticket for the day, you’ll need an additional party ticket to stay for the evening fun.

✨ Here’s how it works:

  • On party days, Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios close early to the general public—usually at 6:00 PM.

  • Only guests with event tickets are allowed to stay after that time.

  • However, party guests can enter the park as early as 4:00 PM—even without a regular day ticket! So you get a bit of extra time in the park before the festivities officially begin around 7:00 PM.

This is such a great option if you want to save money by skipping a full-day park ticket and just doing the party that evening!

🎅 Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

Location: Magic Kingdom
Dates: Select nights November 8–December 20, 2025

This is the classic Disney holiday celebration we all know and love. If you want traditional Christmas cheer, this is the one.

  • Exclusive parade featuring Santa Claus 🎅

  • Snow on Main Street, U.S.A. (yes, snow in Florida!) ❄️

  • Complimentary cookies & cocoa 🍪☕

  • Minnie’s Fireworks Show

  • Jazzy character appearances (Max Goof as Powerline returns!)

  • Access to popular attractions with lower wait times

What to expect:

  • Holiday kitchens featuring festive eats & drinks from different cultures 🍷🍢

  • Holiday Storytellers in each World Showcase pavilion

  • Candlelight Processional: a beautiful retelling of the Christmas story by celebrity narrators and choir 🎶

  • Holiday Cookie Stroll (collect them all!)
